Just a few of matters to report on this month:
First, the PGA POA Annual Meeting Election Results. The Board has asked me to pass along their appreciation to those who attended the Annual meeting on January 16, 2013. If you weren’t able to attend but mailed in your ballot, the Board appreciates your vote!
We welcome Jack Hughes back to the Board after a one year absence. The PGA POA Board now includes Bob Hodgson, President; Mike Engelsher, Vice President; Bob Brown, Treasurer; Jack Hughes, Secretary; and Directors Art Garbarino, Ralph Infanti, Jeanne Larsen, Don Paulus and Karen Warshaw.
Second, the POA Board is currently working on the 2013-14 annual budget. The POA’s fiscal year begins July 1st. The assessment notice will be mailed on June 1st. If you have moved, please remember to contact the POA office (not just your HOA or Condo Association) with your new address.
The final matter is a reminder (again) about the busy streets and sidewalks. If you ride a bicycle, please either use the edge of the roadway and always be careful of the cars (and keep all the way to the right) or the bike paths. If you use the paths (yes, they were intended originally for walkers and bicyclists) please alert others when you are approaching from behind and slow down.
The Fun Stuff: A “Concert in the Park” has been scheduled on the afternoon of February 17th in Masters Park. Look for the flyer in this issue of the Community Awareness News (C.A.N.).
The Annual Children’s Party in the Park is Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. so mark your calendar and watch for the postcards that will be mailed to each PGA address in March.
Wishing you all the best during the month of February. I’ll have more to go on and on about next month!
